It is very important that what you deliver to us is in the appropriate specifications for our engineer(s) to properly finish your project. Because our service is only specific to mastering, when mixing down your project, make sure that your mix down does not contain clashing frequencies. This can make your mix down sound muddy and this translates to the master. Specs below!

  • - WAV at 44Khz and 16 bit stereo
  • - Keep volume at or below -6db
  • - Do not add compression or limiters to the mixdown

After you submit your payment you will receive instructions on how to submit your song(s) for mastering. In order to expedite and to ensure correctness, please submit a zip file with your song(s) using WeTransfer.com or Dropbox.com only. The email address to mail the zip file to will be contact@definitive-promo.com. Once we receive your files, we will work on your project and you’ll receive it within two to three days, excluding Saturdays and Sundays since our office is closed. If you do not receive your project within this time frame, please contact us.

That’s all it takes to get your music sounding better than ever. We master songs within 24 to 72 hours, although for big orders we may require additional time, of which we will reach out for your approval. You will receive your completed masters via the same method you sent, WeTransfer.com. Our offices are closed on Saturday, Sundays and major USA bank holidays. Thus, any orders sent after office hours will be worked on when our engineers arrive to our office.

Important, please read: Because we understand everyone has opinions on how mastered material should sound, our policy is to redo your master one time as per your detailed feedback. We will do this free of charge and only one time per song. Additionally, we cannot and will not process any refund of any kind. It takes a lot dedication and time for us to be able to master your material, thus we have to protect our time and costs associated. With this said, if you’d like, you are welcome to get in touch with us to discuss this to ensure that we fulfill your expectation and we can potentially do a small master sample of up to 30 seconds for you free of charge.
